Love is in the air! Let you heart fly free with a loved one; all relationships welcome: couples, friends, etc.
It will be the most wholesome threesome ever: you, your partner, and the hammock! We'll explore ways to strengthen AND stretch the body (love at it's best is both strong and supple), plus ways to be of support to, and be supported by our partners. Add a pinch of laughter, a dash of fun, and you've got a class that will help you feel warm & fuzzy for rest of your weekend.To sweeten the deal, we'll also finish the evening with wine and chocolate!
Attire suggestions: for maximum comfort, pants that cover the knees, shirts that stay put when you bend over. Sharp jewelry is a safety hazard, so you'll be asked to remove any that could catch on your partner or the hammock.
About the instructors:
Maisah is a dancer, an avid Aerial & AcroYogini, and lover of all things breath & body connected! She started her yoga-teaching journey in 2011, and in addition to Aerial Yoga also teaches Vinyasa, Restorative, Kid's and AcroYoga. She loves helping students find both a sense of grounding and a sense of flight (sometimes simultaneously) via the vehicle of the aerial hammock. If your body is your temple, she wants to help you make that temple fit for the royalty that is you!
Om Factory’s Aerial Yoga Teacher Training remains the second best decision of Liz’s life. The first was of course to run away and join the circus! Working with Cirque du Soleil was an amazing experience that introduced her to so many wonderful things, from traveling all over the world, to Om Factory itself. In addition to teaching aerial yoga to both children and adults, she teaches Lyra workshops which have been her primary performance apparatus for her aerial career.
