Become intoxicated! This workshop combines Thai Yoga Bodywork principles of touch with assisted yoga postures and a focused consideration for our partner’s wellbeing.

Through demonstrations and guidance we’ll explore rhythmical rocking, dynamic stretching and joint mobilization techniques to flow with. By interchanging roles, giving and receiving, we will both develop skills and attune to a state of balanced restoration.

Notes: Registering with a partner is encouraged but not mandatory. Dress for comfort. Mats and blankets will be provided. EARLY BIRD Discounts will apply through 6/18. Sign up early to assure your spots.

Instructor(s):

Linda holds Level II certifications from both Triple Gem School of Thai Massage and AcroYoga.org, and studied extensively with Jen Yarrow and Adam Rinder. She’s a 22nd generation Dragon Gate Qigong lineage-holder with a background in dance. Linda’s classes are a lively mix embodying technique, enjoying movement in partnership while gaining freedom, strength, flexibility and agility. She consistently participates in AcroYoga events in the US, Latin America and Europe including Wanderlust Festivals, Yoga Journal, Bryant Park, Figment, Michael Franti’s Soulshine Tour and ABC’s Good Morning America. Linda@acroyoga.org.

Maisah started studying yoga whilst looking for a way to maintain her body for her work as a modern dancer. She finished her Vinyasa 200hr certification in 2011 and was introduced to AcroYoga that same year. Already being in love with movement + people, she fell in love with the practice; eventually completing teacher training with the AcroYoga Montréal team in 2015. Community, compassion, and light-heartedness are the things that AcroYoga fills her with, so she strives share these in her teaching. In addition to AcroYoga, Maisah also teaches Aerial Yoga, Aerial Mellow Flow, Vinyasa (RYT200), Restorative & Kids' Yoga (RYCT).
